Describe yourself in three words?
Versatile, Supportive, Motivated
Who inspires you?
There are many people that inspire me to do better in life and in my career, My family inspire me to always do better and push forward knowing they have worked so hard all their lives, Also people like Nathan Dawe, Missin Lync, DJ Blighty who have worked very hard in this industry to go from nothing to something as DJs. There are a few celebrities as well, but I think I’ve mentioned the main people.
What is your dream venue and line up?
This is such a hard question again with the amount of talent there is out there, I think id love to play an iconic venue maybe Ministry of sound/Fabric, The boiler room for something a little more intimate or of course or maybe even ocean beach Ibiza. The line-up would be so hard to pick because of the amount of talent nowadays and the variation in what I like, so maybe Drake, Chris Brown, MK, DJ EZ, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, and then a selection of friends and Local DJs that have supported me so far, but it would be a very hard choice.
What are your long-term goals music-wise?
Ideally, I would like to increase my music knowledge which I’m always working on I’d also like to start learning to produce my own music being able to make a song that makes people feel good would be amazing.
Who’s your favourite person to follow on Instagram?
I have quite a few that I like to keep up to date with on social media Motivationamafia, Djnathandawe and Djdayday all worth checking out their content is brilliant but there are so many that I like to keep in check with.
For you, what’s the main difference between playing in the UK and playing abroad?
I think the main difference in my experience is that when your abroad is that people are there to have that release and just enjoy the time that they are there, they just live for the moment because they are meeting new people and having new experiences that they may never have again. i always feel like when you’re at home you never let yourself enjoy the full experience through fear of judgement in today’s society people want what’s cool or what’s trending on the internet rather than going and enjoying the music and the moments there having with friends, they want to record it all instead of feel. Don’t get me wrong I’ve played to amazing crowds both in the UK and abroad but when you’re just living your life by the moment abroad you have a hell of a lot more fun with no worries or fear or judgement as you may never see the other people again. I love what I do non the less my job is to entertain, and I love doing that.
Describe your ideal day off?
My ideal day off non-work related at all would be to go and explore or visit somewhere with historical value, alternatively music based id love a little get together in the studio with a few music minded friends spin a few tracks and have a few beers with a few video games in the background. What’s your signature dish? Has to be Garlic Buttered Steak with Sweet Potato fries with sides.
